On the plus side it now has 6 second reloads and if outfitted has decent rudder shift to avoid enemy shots coming from longer ranges, I wouldn’t put Radar on it as it’s more for benefiting the team rather than specificily the Cleveland, and it needs all the help it can get It lends itself to the sneaky bugger play style with its ability to shoot over Islands or hit ships hiding behind Islands and you will need to experiment what Islands or places on the map you can hide and shoot over with its loopy outer space shell trajectory however this gives longer shell to target times resulting in ships gone when the time shells hit, this does take getting some used to

The Cleveland will do just just ok in same tier games but fighting X Cruisers or BBS that shoot much further hit harder more accurately is a very very big problem with its maxed out gun range of 15k plus range Spotting would be of use but I don't think it is tied into targeting. So it may not be all me.įorgot looks like I have radar onboard the Cleveland ( won it ) but have no idea what to do with it.

Also, a few of those games I was on teams that just got completely slaughtered. I suppose it's early, and it won't be the first ship I've played with a brutal learning curve. Still, even though the Baltimore feels like a good ship when I'm playing it, my stats aren't great (See below). I guess it seems that way because the only other tier VIII cruiser I have is Cleveland, so I'm used to playing mostly CLs with no armor or HP. I researched Hipper, but it looks like a near clone of Yorck, so I haven't bothered to buy it yet. I can actually citadel ships if I line up the shots. Guns are good enough I don't have to just spam HE all the time. Yeah, I noticed the same thing about Baltimore. Right now I definitely prefer my balti at tier 8, that ship just feels awesome. I can't really think of anything else to try. She still is just as squishy as she was at tier 6. Some ideas for ya would be to try to hide behind islands, because she eats damage so easily.
